 There you go.Temperament of my 2 dogs from Carly is exactly as someone described above. They are very protective, but discriminative and friendly once introduced. Perfect shepherd temperament,... but not necessarily for an lazy (training wise) owner.  Also Carly has black recessive gene. Thus you will get all sorts of colors. I have 2 dogs from Carly here male and female and they are spitting image to dogs on pictures   2 , 5,  7 above.   Head on both black dogs and bi color dog is the same too. The structure is also same ( at this age) as Carly's. In my book Carly ads mostly seriousness in protection to his progeny, size of the bones,  pigment, nice head. The old style dog's temperament we are trying to protect enhance, and improve.

duke, you are precisely correct, and the product of such a breeding will be more prepotent in and of itself, when it goes to breed.

I doubt the working qualities of any of the females he was bred to are in question, I can only say they are of equal importance in their contribution.

I also agree with you that he would be an interesting dog to use, and I hope to see his name in the contribution of dogs into my own breedings someday.

It is very balanced dog. Very selfconfident, solide bones, and huge head. It is easy trainable dog and at the same time has very hard protection. It's linebred dog over Grim z Pohranicni Straze. At the pictures Bont is 10 monates of Age:

I think, that Carly is excellente, extremely serious dog.  He is solid built, hevy, but at the same time is extremely fast and explosive dog. It is dominant caracter, with strong nerves, enormous vigilence to fight and win. He is top producer. Very strong dog. The puppies from Carly are with very good temperament, explosive and energetic, as like Carly, and with excellente expresive heads and strong correct built.
