Adorable puppy!  I'm lost too, what is a pin headed GSD?

I think he's saying this puppy's head is thick with a full stop, so a pup liek this would make a snipey dog look worse? Am I right? Kind of an odd way to put it, but it's what I gathered.

Careful Mahon, a GSD should still have a head like a GSD- not a rottweiler.

KC:

you figured Mahon out.....This pups head is nice and big..at 4 weeks old....
A pinheaded gsd is a snipey coyote looking head and if you like that kind of look,,this pup is not for you.....

He is a very smart , very talking pup at 4 weeks old..As you know., the muzzle will start to grow as he reaches 10- 12 weeks old and at this size now,, you know he wil be a big headed german shepherd.

Both parents have large heads

Adorable  and he is Blk and RED////YEAH

Here is a pic of a full brother of the puppy above from previous breeding, same parents. He is 6 months in this photo.

KCzaja, YR       you could read through the words, but what really made the difference is your confidence in your knowledge. I was confused but now I see more beauty in the pups head (with confidence)..

Love them with the big head's. The collie look is not attractive at all.

by eichenluft on 25 October 2009 - 14:10

not sure the older pup is a good example of a big non-pin head.....

eichenluft,

If you think this is a pin headed GSD you may want to look again at the size of head vs chest . Current pic is 9 months of age and 70 lbs. Taken 10-25-09
