Wrong link before... dumbass me.

Finally... After 3 months of sitting on his ass because of a bad case of pano, doing exactly nothing all day and night, not even light walks for the first months or so, and sending red rocket greetings to anyone and everyone who looks at him - he went to do some bitework.

This is his very first time on the sleeve in his life. The sleeve used here is a well worn intermediate sleeve. He only used a puppy tug and bite wedge previously, at 11 months and earlier.

The movies are a bit large at 100 MB, no problem at all for broadband users, a minute or so, but dial up people will download it around Thanksgiving, if they start now.

He was a bit out of shape, not too bad, but bounced quickly and I was pleased at the dance. Lots and lots more to do around here.

Nice dog.  Nice bite work.  I assumed you are looking for comments to post the video?  On the first video (I have yet to watch the second), on or about 2 minutes you send the dog on the long bite.  He hits hard but then moves to the elbow.  That tells me he is stressed on the long bite.  I would let him have the sleve and force him to tug in the middle.  If you are the handler, you should be there close rubbing his head telling him "so ist brav".  If he is German trained.

Great looking dog and training!

Ok, just watched second video.  The dog clearly is favoring the elbow.  Some things to consdier:

1)  Just let him bite in prey;
2)  Once he bites in prey force him to face off with the helper; and,
3)  Put some physical praise on him while he is fighting.

Good looking dog.

Oh, I almost forgot.  Helper seems to anticpate the bite way too long before the bite.  He appears a little scared of getting hit or is leading the dog.
