LOL   I remember reading an autobiographical book about these horses when I was about 12 years old.  I still can do a few nice dives myself,  love the flying feeling, oh yeah.

Oh my goodness, poor horse.  I have to swim horses often, and the love of water does not come naturally, nor the love of falling.

I once read a book about a Sonora and her horses; it was called A Girl and Five Brave Horses.  It was an interesting read.  One of her horses was killed during a practice, but not during a performance.  I believe Disney's 1991 film Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken was about her.

I wish your lack of compassion surprised me.

Horses are prey animals; they are wired that way, and to force one to engage in something like that for NO purpose except entertainment is sick.

Poor horses... I can't imagine they were trained to do that willingly.
