I'm curious, has anyone on here ever fed either of these? If so which formula seemed to be the best?  I'm considering trying out one of these with Max and Buck when the food I have stocked up for them runs out (probably won't be for another 6 months).  Thoughts anyone?

Forgot to also put "Solid Gold" to the list as well. Anyone ever feed that? Which ones, and how'd your dogs do on it?

I feed my two dogs Blue Wilderness to great, great results my dogs both have an amazing coat that gets complimented all the time both on walks and when we go to our Schutzhund practice. They have a very firm but small stool which makes clean up much easier. I like the good balance of the food and the price is not too crazy it is a 5 star dog food at http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com. I have always recommended it to my friends who ask and even though I do sometimes feed raw I use this as the primary food source. :)

Which Blue Wilderness formula do you feed?

I use the Chicken because it is what I feed them raw on the times I do.

I've fed both Solid Gold and Blue Wilderness for my dogs/cats, Blue Buffalo Wilderness is my first choice {I also feed a raw diet too}. Only certain Solid Gold and Blue Buffalo formulas are Grain free. Blues' wilderness line are all grain free. Came across the these foods a several years back when one of the cats were having a problem when pooping. Lots of money spent on labs, sonogram, antibiotics, supplements and a vet recommended the Science Diet prescription formulas which slightly helped, but didn't completely resolve the problem which then led me to the suspicion it was food related. I put the cat on the Blues' wilderness and I seen really good results....immediately! No more problems with her poop and somewhere around the second month we noticed she had an better overall appearance, so I switched all the animals to Blue Wilderness. All the animals like the food, they all have great coats, just had CBC labs done on two dogs with great results, it's also pretty convenient as far as finding in stores too.

Thanks for the responses.  Who usually has the best prices on it? I saw it on Petsmarts website, I think it was $48 for a 24 lb bag.  Expensive, but not insanely high.  As for eating it though, how much do your guys eat on it? The two dogs I have that would be eating it, one is 48 lbs, the other is 56 lbs.  Does anyone know if Petco still carries Solid Gold? When I was in Kentucky, their Petco did not carry it (A few months back).  The petco here in TN use to carry it, but I haven't been there in so long.  I will be going to Petco and Petsmart on Saturday here in TN. I haven't been in a while though.  jt210 which Solid Gold food did you feed?

Petco carried Blue Buffalo and Solid Gold, Petsmart only carried Blue Buffalo. A few months ago a worker in Petco told me that they will be discontinuing some of the brands they carry and replacing them with different brands soon.
My female is 65lbs I feed her 2 cups AM and 1 cup in the PM, my males are 88 and 95 lbs and they get 2 cups AM and 2 cups PM.
I also order from Doggiefood.Com $47.99 24lb bag {spend 49.99 for free shipping}, I have to buy several bags anyway.
Petco/PetSmart from what I remember does not ship free for dog/cat food no matter how much you spend. Did they change that?
When I use Solid Gold I my aim is to feed a decent quality lamb kibble since I use beef or Salmon for raw dishes and Blue buffalo Wilderness Chicken for kibble {Blue Wilderness doesn't have a lamb formula}.
I use Solid Gold Hund-n-Flocken Adult Dog  food, it comes in the gold bag.

I feed my Female 63 ish pounds at 9 months 2 - 3 cups a day depending on the way her body is looking, she has gone through a growth spurt the last 3 weeks or so, so  I have uped it to 4 cups.

I have fed Solid Gold in the past. I fed the WolfKing first, but my female lost ALOT of weight on the WolfKing. She is a very active Czech bred female. At first I thought there might be something wrong with her, since she lost about 6 pounds in 10 days. She was at a good weight before going to the WolfKing. I even took her to the vet and had a full workup done. Everything was normal. So I ended up switching to the Solid Gold lamb. She did very well on that. The reason I stopped feeding it was because the pet store I was getting it at stopped carrying it.

I have never tried the Blue Wilderness.

Currently, Xena is eating the AvoDerm Chicken and rice. She does very well on it. Beautiful coat, good stool, and her weight is good, and she has endless energy.
