Hi, I think this is an internal issue for Americans so I won't interfere in that except since I am from same nation where the involvement of USA took place I would like to say few things and it'll be a single post only from my side as I don't like getting involved in politics discussions because they seem to increase the gap between people at least in our part of the world.
1. USA made a mistake in attacking Iraq and used incorrect info to convince its nation of US interests in attacking this country, Arabs hate US governments for that.
2. USA supports Israel blindly in each and every way and sells cheap sweet talk to Palestinians but no real actions, Arabs hate USA governments for that.
3. USA supported tyrant Arab Leaders for many years and Democracy slogan was only a deterrent, Arabs hate USA governments for that.
4. USA gave the impression to its people and to other Western nations that Muslims are terrorists/Jihadists using Osama Bin Laden who was created and financed by CIA in the first place against the Russians as a proof, Arabs hate USA governments for that.
Recently and for the first time USA stood fast for the Libyan people who wanted to get free from one of the worst criminals in our region (Gathafi), whatever the intentions were we here see a good side of USA maybe for the first time in this life, Arabs love this US government for that.

Ibrahim, thanks for the info. I hope you are correct. But alas as you say it is an internal US matter and in the USA these unprovoked, undeclared wars are illegal and against our Constitution. The US Founding Fathers who started our country were dead set against foreign entagnglements of any kind and standing armies.
