A question to the moderators - Page 1

I've got a young male with OCD (see my other posts) and I'd like to find out if bis brothers and sisters ok or if they too are affected by this illness. To find them I'll have to post his kennelname and the names of his parents. Can I, or will that post be removed. Thanx in advance.

One way to do this would be not to mention any illnes or complaints, just put out a search for the dogs you are looking for. After you establish contact offline, you could then express your concerns to the respective owner(s). No one would every know what you wanted the info for and you would not have to ask the moderators for permission. Stephen

Hi Stephen. That's a good idea. This is one of the most affectonate and loving dogs anyone could ever hope to meet. As a breeder, I am concerned that the dogs that are from my kennel are healthy. I also expect that when I buy a dog/puppy that I want to include in my breeding plan, he should be as free from any kind illness, both phsically and mentally as I or the breeder can possibly be. I know that some of these pups were sold to breeders in Europe. If I can help in any way to stop poeple breeding with such sick dogs, I will do what it takes. In the end of it all, we all love our GSD's. And to see such a young personality be riddled with such stress, is unbearable to me. Alot of people have written to me and have told me that they'd bred with these dogs. Now tell me what's more sick? A dog with a mental disorder, or someone who breeds with a dog with a mental disorder?

Nope, Oli is the only "moderator" and only removes the seriously nasty, or things that cause him to receive complaints.

Hi Hexe. No his pedigree is not in the database, but if you are interested, I can send it to you. Vomlandholz. That was the idea I had in mind. I have no intent to start off a bitching match at all. I just want to find out if his siblings are affected too. I mean, it can happen to anyone.
