I prefer to use the Schweikert sleeve. It is very comfortable and durable. I also really like the angle of the bar on the inside of the sleeve...the one for my hand when I am wearing it. It is at a great angle and makes wearing the sleeve very comfortable and natural.

Gappay sleeves are very popular and reasonably priced. www.gappay-uk.com

I like the Frabo No.7 trial sleeve the best for adult dogs. Also the Schweikert 5484 & 5982 are also pretty good and comfortable. Ebinger makes excellent sleeves but they aren't that easy to get. H. Ebreu makes a nice sleeve, also hard to get. Gappay are okay. For older puppies or young dogs, the Frabo junghund sleeve is very good.

Elitek9 carries the Bende sleeve, with the Elite K9 logo (Bende places it on the equipment).

The "Belgium sleeve" is very good, Mike Worrall in Belgium sells it. I also have a left and right arm sleeve from Ebinger which work very well. Gappay also makes a sleeve that is made for larger arms. My Gappay regular size (model 110?) sleeve pinches my forearm when presenting the sleeve. For sleeve covers I stick with the natural materials. It's what is used in trials. Kyle

In training, I like the Ray Allen UltraLite series. Super light and good sleeves, so they don't wear you out if you've got to work a lot of dogs and they last pretty well. They've also got a compression type core, so it encourages the dogs to really chomp down hard. I like their angle of the biting surface to the handle. I've used Gappays and Schweikerts, and I've gotten the "pinch" that Kyle mentioned...I actually had some real nasty friction burns/bruises from using a Schweikert and trying to slip the sleeve with a couple of really hard biting dogs.

I use the "Belgium Arm" most of the time...I use a well-used one for younger dogs and a newer one for more advanced dogs...but I start my dogs off on a 2 piece puppy arm...just a cheap model and then advance to a "HundeSport" which is a compressable arm to teach good grips...When I was in Germany I also found a very good sleeve that I bought and actually use it more then the "Belgium Arm"...It is called "Koch" and it is comparable to the "Belgium Arm" but I like it better...And talking about "covers" for the arms...I think that Gappay has one of the best... ~Bob~
