Excellent.   Hope he/she is gone - people need to continue to notify Oli when Trolls start posting!

There is a sucker born every minute. Even if he has all the top scores and titles, what has he produced?   I bred to a wonderful BSP participant high placiing dog  with good hips, KKl-1 with multiple progeny on the ground and paid $700.  All puppies are excellent and I would do it again if my bitch were not retired now. But when people breed "paper to paper" woithout knowing what the dogs are really about, they can be taken by this kind of stuff. And the real question is, not just how nice the male is but if he is a suitable match for your female. The greatest stud dog does not  fix a weak female, and great puppies only come from  the right combination with the  right female

Hi Julia! Welcome back!

Truth is, if you have a top bitch, with good lines, (good match on paper) who has already produced titled/Koer'd dogs, you never pay a full stud fee, here or across the pond. Especially with a young, promising stud dog, smart owners are more concerned with getting pups on the ground that can and will prove the quality of their dog, post-haste, than money.
Pays to have good females, in a lot more ways than one. Unfortunately, dogs' production lives aren't half as long as horses. By the time we can tell how well they produce, see their babies' names up in lights, they are half done or more in their breeding careers. After that though, the rush is on!

Kaisers stud fee is the price of an extra large big mac value meal BUT for the correct bitch I would only charge for the price of a regular value meal

His pedigree is "kinda a grey area though"

4 out of 5 vets agree he is a dog tho

ROTFLMAO

I'll give a huge discount on T to anybody who leaves the bitch tied to a loader/backhoe, does auto mechanic work, cleans houses.. Make me an offer.

by eichenluft on 13 June 2009 - 16:06

That's true - I need my house painted, and some carpentry work done.  Have a nice female?  Stud fee negotiable LOL

Well all else aside the hip ratings in his pedigree are very good.  You can have a dog with great drive all day long but if it's hips can't keep up with the drive you are forced to sadly deal with that disapointment.  Is it worth $2,000.00 plus pick of the litter?????  But is has to be worth something.  He is a nice looking dog & is titled so I would give him credit for being a nice working dog.  But I would want to see him & his work first.  Seeing is believing.

First off I personally wouldn't breed to this dog...and in the crazy event that I decided to i wouldn't pay a nickel over $500.00....you can breed to some of the greats in germany all day long for $700 U.S and most have done well at the BSP or WUSV one or multiable times...lolololol shoot if i made a extremely tight budget for $2000 i could breed to a top stud in germany, pay for my flight, and maybe just maybe bring back a puppy to....it would be pushing it but for $2000 i know for certain i would atleast get the flight and breeding for sure
