I about choked when I saw this ad  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/classifieds/81106.html

If you breed to this stud, it better come with an iron clad guaranty that every pup in the litter wil win every trophy in every trial they are entered in.

I do not see the dogs pedigree ?  Not that I am good with a pedigree .I guess if thats what they want thats what they want . Gold comes to mind  puppies dipped in gold . Anyone know what he produces for drive and looks ?  What has he brought to the table so far ?  Scores,  health,  temperment of his pups  ?

ridiculous.

for that price,  he better be a WUSV or BSP champion.  I want to see him being at the top placing at many trials.  just a SCH3 with a nice pedigree, maybe$800 - $1000, but no way $2000 plus pick pup.  absurd.

Well I have no idea about that pedigree is that a west show line with a west working line ?

West Working line. That price is WAY to high. There are males out there that have been to the WUSV and are National Champions that have stud fees of $1000 to $1200. So for that male to have a stud fee of $2000 plus pick pup is high.

Maybe the people ment to say $2000 OR pick pup. Still that is a little high for a stud fee.

normal working pedigree - nothing bad about it, nothing that exciting either.  Normal dark sable, normal everything - they will find out the stud fee is WAYYYYYYY over the top of reasonable, when they don't get any breedings to him.

My two stud dogs V-Bandit v Wolfsheim Schh3,FH,KKl-1, and SG-H'Doc v Rex Lupus Schh3,FH2,KKl-1 a-normal hips/elbows both are fantastic!  And super bloodlines too.  $800 stud fee for titled females, no strings attached, pregnancy guaranteed.

(yawn) this is not to be unexpected.  In this capitalist society there is the perception that higher price equates to higher value.  Actually, this ad is not the worst of them.  I've seen folks asking two grand for stud fee out of an UNTITLED male.  LOL.

This guy is fishing for bucks, and in his mind his dog might be worth all that, and a bag of chips.  Buyer beware!
