Whenever we travel we like to stay at LaQuinta. They are clean, comfortable and VERY dog friendly, no extra charges. Their complimentary continental breakfast is not bad, either. We joined their "returns" club and usually end up with one or two free nights a year, depending on how much we are traveling.

When our girl was young we stayed at a really nice Holiday Inn Express and made it just in time for the nightime snack of warm chocolate chip cookies and milk in the lobby. YUMMY!!! Of course, they had a 25 lb limit but since she was only 4 months old - we were able to get by staying there.

She was traveling and she stopped late one night to get a room, the Hilton would not let her bring in her dog, stated no pet policy, she pleaded with him and advised her driver was tired and she felt uncomfortable to contiune to drive. So she slept in limo with her dog and the driver to (he refused to take the room she offered to him). So she aired this and Hilton called her durring the show and advised her she coud bring her dog anytime, policy change! Thank you Ophra. I love traveling with my dogs, now can you please travel with some of your larger friends....
