I am asking a genuine question and hope it will not become a thread where there is lots of negative comments. I am taking a female to Germany to mate next year and am unable to make the Sieger Show in September. My female is a excellent bred bitch in the UK, but is somwhat limited in her movement, she has good shape on the move, and is sound, but has restricted fore reach. I obviously will be taking in many other aspects, health, temperament, compatable lines etc, but would like to attempt to improve the movement. So this is my question in two parts: What male would you consider the best mover (does not need to be a VA dog). And, the line you think excellent movement comes from. Thanks in anticipation of your replies. Best Regards Sting

V1 Karat's Yoker is a top mover!!!!! And Son of THe Greatest German Shepherd ever to have lived(recently pronounced by the WUSV) VA1 URsus von batu. I have many of his pictures and his movement is superb! His fore reach especially! I can send you his pic!

Sting...how old is your female?...Also have you done any checking into why her movement isn't as good as you expect...I mean has she been x-rayed...HIPS...ELBOWS...and...SPINE? ~Bob~

I would suggest that you find out what part of her conformation is limiting her movingabilities , and select a male to improve that particular problem

Many thanks to all your input to date, in answer to Bob, yes everthing is normal in the X ray dept. And do really like both Hill and Yoker. Regards Sting

i m not agree wth my friends becox u told ur female lack in front reach then u should go for that male who have long n excellent angulated upper arm wth good shoulder for this u can use so many males like pakros, zamp, marko, quen, nando, odin, scott agrigento, tor di casa nobilli they all have super front reach but if u want to improve the movement then u should go for dux valcuvia line like scott ,marko, tor becox front reach s a one part of movement n dux line mostly tranfer the movement in their off springs, good luck.
