Hi every one i just want to know what is the normal age for a pup ears to be firm & straight till wch month. we should wait normaly & the danger time for wch they should be taped if nessery after wch month.But when they give an indecation for standing for a while & drops of & on should we tape it?Chao every one & thks.

On normal basis the ear errection depends upon the condition of the puppy. if the pup is too weak then ears are going to stand early and if pup is healthy enough then they generally errect around the age of 2-3 month and mostly upto to 4th month , after which alarm is on. dr.pradney taksande (petsburgh kennel) pradney@petsburgh.info

Why should you have to tape ears at all. They are suppose to come up normally on their own. I would say IMO if they dont come up by 10 monthes its looking pretty bleak.
