I am not sure who exactly to tell you about this, but thought I would share with you and you could crosspost to everyone you know. I know we have quite a few crossposters on here and hope you can get the word out on his criminal guy...I denied a potential adopter for one of my rescue shepherds due to horribly neglectful care of a past pet. Talking to the guy on the phone, it was clear he is not stable. He had me calling every vet in Pittsburgh for vet references, the dog was never vetted and had a HORRIBLE pyoderma. The applicant says the dog was put down due to an autoimmune problems and brain tumor. I got a hold of the vet that actually had to put the dog down in an emergency clinic when this guy refused to treat it for seizures. This had a profound effect on the vet when she related he story, as this guy denied treatment/diagnosis, not even allowing the vet to administer phenobarbital to stop the seizures and make the dog comfortable.
His personal references included a sexual predator on Meghan's list. He also claims that one is a state senator..which he is definitely NOT, but has the same last name. Enough said Late last night, after he received the denial, he began threatening me, via email. This morning he started calling to say he was coming to my house "with black people from Pittsburgh" (could he be MORE offensive??? ) and I had made a big mistake for which I am going to be 'very, very sorry'. However, he was particularly concerned that I take his name off of any 'lists'. That was a theme throughout the emails as well. While most laymen don't know that DNA lists exist....after thinking about it, he must have been put on one. I put his name into the Magisterial Site and it came up with three pages of charges that included terroristic threats, assault, stalking, dog bites, failure to contain dog, failure to vaccinate, dog at large, etc...
I know that he is currently searching for a GSD. I don't want to put another dog through the Hell that his last dog went through. I also don't want any other rescuers put in danger. Here is his personal information. ..could you please crosspost to as many as you can???
I suspect that he may be looking in the Pittsburgh area, but won't be surprised to learn he is coming you way!!! Thanks for all of your help.
