Hello to everyone,
I have some questions.

1)I can know that a dog is alive or no on the Database?

2)what are the benefits of put a dog on PedigreeDatabase?

3)when you put a new dog is obligatory put the place of the dog and personal info?

4)I can delete a dog registred from me if there are "problems"?

5)I try to register my dog,but his name on the pedigree is only "Rex" and this site say that a dog whit his name exist! But he isn't mine! Now???

The following answers are just what I have observed. There are probably other answers too.

1. No, unless in the "comments" part someone discusses the dog's death.

2. You can do sample "matings," other people can see your dog's pedigree without needing a paper one, and you can see linebreeding quickly.

3. No.

4. Yes.

5. Is your dog registered with a kennel club? You need to use that name. Your kennel club probably would not allow just Rex, because the registered name has to be unique.

I can ad this to the above:
This site is not the official authority of pedigrees, not all pure bred dogs are on this site, you find your dog here if you or the breeder added it and its ancestors already are added here too.
When I joined I was thinking that this site is what proves a pedigree of a dog is genuine or not till a German breeder got fed up of my ignorance and explained this fact to me when I told him I thought he was not telling the truth about his dogs entities, as he refuses to add his dogs here and doesn't believe all the data is correct.
Regards
Ibrahim
