Anyone know or use this dog food? My breeder uses it and loves it. Just wondering if anyone else uses it and likes it. Thanks!

The best food that I find is "Innova Large Breed" I also give my dogs cooked chicked, yogurt or cottage cheese, natural things.

I have been feeding Nature's Variety. Not only does it come in kibble, but also raw. Anyone else? Dawn

Sieger, Mine is a real answer. Just telling what I am feeding my dog, nothing else. I for one am curious as to what people feed. Dawn

I have had GSD's most of my life. Have only had one to have HD. I think it is a shame that whatever kind of food these animals are given that their looks have to be sacrificed by owners to think that not feeding them is going to stop HD. My family used to run a SPCA kennel and if we would have had dogs like the caliber of dogs that I have seen on this site for sale come into our kennel, we would have been out to get the owners for cruelty to animals. I agree that less weight is better for their hips but it is a shame to almost starve these beautiful animals like people are doing. I've seen full grown males that aren't as big and beautiful as some of my 6 month old female pups and grown females that I would no way put into a breeding program. I think you will get good results with almost any kind of dog food if you feed it. No wonder it is so easy for handlers to swing the dogs in the air and make the dog look so go at the biting of the sleeve. There is no weight to them. Personally, I would be ashamed to sell dogs to someone that look like so many of these dogs look. The majestic most beautiful dog in the world should never be treated like this. I think there is a different defination for the words thin and skinny.
