ANY news about the working females?

by Sheesh on 23 April 2006 - 17:04

The unofficial results are listed on the MITTELWEST site for the Sieger Show. For the working class females, only about half of the were given ratings, there is a note that says "no other ratings were given". Does anyone have any idea why? Is it because there were so many and the judge only wanted to rate the top dogs "VA"and "V"? I am pretty new to this scene, but I haven't heard of this before. I would be extremely disappointed, to say the least, if I had been working towards this big event for months, and then didn't even get a rating.... Thanks, Theresa

what about the Working males?

by Sheesh on 23 April 2006 - 17:04

Not listed yet, if the number of males is anything near the number of females, it is going to be a while before they finish...there were a LOT of females- looks like about 62 or so.

I'm like Theresa i just don't understand the 'no rating' thing especially for some dogs like Carlos, Leido & Karats Ulko can some one out there shed some light on this i dont think i've ever seen that before

The weather conditions were less than optimal from the sound of things today. There were 62 Working Females entered, and based on the best "on the ground" information we have, 26 dogs were presented in the conformation ring. We do not have good enough information to know which dogs may have pulled before the protection test, which dogs may have not passed the protection test, and which dogs may have pulled after passing the protection test for whatever reason. Therefore, we listed all entries on the www.mittelwest.com site, but did not indicate a reason for those dogs who to the best of our knowledge were not presented in the conformation ring. DTW

Oh - same response goes for Working Males. We don't have enough information to say for sure why many entries were not presented in the final conformation ring. DTW
