What is the difference between the american german shepherd & the german (inport)shepherd?Feet size,back slope,I heard that the AKC is concerding the american version a different breed.Thanks, tom in florida

Going to this website would be the easiest way to explain the differences as far as conformation. You'll find the differences in Am/Can vs. German as well as the differences in Show vs. Working, East German (DDR) vs. West German vs. Czech vs. UK lines. Hopefully this is what you are looking for.
