Quick question here, Does anybody have an opinion on giving carrot as a snack to puppies? I saw some information on a site for Boxers ( it was all positive ) Anyone have any thoughts for GSD's? Thanks in advance

They are good for dogs but you want to be careful not to give them to many becuase below ground vegetables can make them constipated.

They're a good snack for teething. Just keep an eye on them to make sure they don't choke on a big piece.

Carrots are excellent-but heed the advice above and don't overfeed the dog with them. A few small pieces as a treat are okay. Some think that carrot pieces fed regularly improve the coat's red tint a bit, but I certainly cannot verify that.

My dog loves them...i think it's the cool noise it makes when he eats it!
