I read the dogfight thread with great interest--having had my own $4000 medical adventure. But I'm curious about the experiences others have had. At what age to you have to start keeping same sex littermates apart? Mothers & daughters? Fathers and sons? What about the sire and the litter? I appreciate the thoughtful responses on the other thread.

WHEN THEY GET TEETH!!! I say that with sarcaism but I know of 8 week old pups that recently had a fall out only to find one the pups dead the next morning. At 8 weeks of age, typically they are gone to new homes but if not, they should be crate trained by then and I separate them. I think it's better to take an proactive approach to prevent dog fighting rather than "taking a backseat" until a fight happens.
