Hey all, I posted an "ad" in the female for sale area. Of course I tried in two differnt areas but had a little trouble. It is meant to support a DVD project for humane societies that a group of dog handlers put on, titled here support adoption. Can you give me your options on this, if you would support the project by clicking on a sponser ad, why you would not. I would love the advice from fellow dog lovers, this is a new way to get the word out and help humane societies match dogs to households. Much appreciated.

I may click on an ad if it was not a pop up. I close those immediately if they even manage to get through my pop up blockers. Maybe a banner at the top or a visit our sponsors page? I personally am more inclined to go to a sponsors page than respond to some annoying banner. You can also try this. Put up a page for say a cat that needs a home. Put in some details about how sweet it is and the story behind the animal. Then put something about that animal would not have been able to be saved without the help of 'place sponsor here'. Here is an example. A bit of a sob story has never hurt to place an animal and get donations. And don't forget that nice pitiful picture! ; ) This is Lassie. She is a five month old Collie. Her owners decided that she was too much work for them and dropped her off at the local animal shelter. The shelter volunteers decided that she was just too sweet to be put to sleep so they called us. She is a very active dog who needs someone who will exercise her daily. She is doing well with her training and is housebroken and ready to find a new home. We would not be able to take in animals like Lassie without donations from people like you and the support of our sponsors like Wal-Mart. Please visit our sponsors page so that we will be able to give more animals like Lassie a second chance at a loving home.
