someday, in the future I would love to go to Germany myself too watch the sieger show and visit schutzhund clubs and kennels and bring back a few dogs (when I have my own kennel)
What should a complete novice do if they have never been to Germany before, don't know any breeders or have any contacts and can't speak/write German?
I understand that it would be a good idea to get some contacts...but other than that, what? should I get a guide? (how much would that cost? are there guides out there that specialize in helping folks with visiting breeders?) what are the normal customs, etc. for coming in person too just see?
I would love to see the shows and the GSD kennels, but I would also like to visit breeders of other animals...what would one do in that case? and if I wanted also to do just some general sight seeing as well?
Are there any websites out there with a "what to do and how to do it" page?
hmm...me thinks I had better save up a whole bunch of money if I want to do all this and bring some animals home, lol.
