The judge only gave the top finishing dogs critiques. A lot of people were disappointed, but time was tight.

My handler was able to repeat alot of what the judge had commented on her into his recorder so i know some already but wanted to see it in full and had been told by someone that there is written record of all the dogs critiques later on in sv magazine dont know how true or untrue this may be this is why i am asking around yes there were critiques on first 10 dogs or so of every class also at the show i listened to them.

last year they had it posted to the clubs website... perhaps i will just email chris/gail and ask them. they spoke into their taping devises perhaps the club will translate this..

Doesn't the SV have a rule regarding the owners getting the critiques? Surely someone on this board has showed at other NASS' and knows whether or not the critiques are made a matter of public record by being published in a magazine, available only to the owner or not available at all. All these SV shows are not run without rules and regulations, are they? Is there nothing in writing?

Hello from the NASS Show Chairperson. The judges dictated their full critiques into our digital dictaphones. In the next few days, those detailed critiques will be downloaded and translated (by yours truly). If I feel motivated enough, we MAY download the German critiques for anyone interested/qualified to hear on your own computers. That is, the actual German judges, actually speaking their own critiques for individual dogs. If you want to hear it in English, people are going to have to wait until I, personally, have regrouped enough from the show to provide the same. Chill out, folks, we are trying to give you the most feedback possible. But you need to be considerate of the time/energy/exhaustion or the 2005 NASS organizing committee! THANK YOU!!!! Keystone-Buckeye Hundesport will publish full, detailed critiques from the NASS judges for every dog presented at the 2005 NASS on the official NASS website (www. gsdinfonow.com). People do, however, need to be patient. This is a totally volunteer effort. I have neglected my own puppies for the last two weeks in deference to the NASS. Now, my puppies take first priority and NASS critiques and translations take second priority. Everyone, please go home and spend three full days with your dogs. Love them. Play with them. Train them. Then come back to this website are demand details. Our dogs have to ALWAYS COME FIRST. Please respect that fact for the show organizers and within your own programs. Computer results are only digital results. The most important thing is to value your dogs in the here and now. All in good time will the digital results/critiques be available. Gayle Kirkwood PS. Anyone with an URGENT question/comment for me can reach me at 412-621-0263 or cell 412-480-7307. If you need this information, please use it with my blessings. If you have questionable questions, please think twice about using my personal contacts. If you have already thought twice, then call me. Again, I rely on you all to exert your own sense of priority. Thanks to all participants for a great show!

I am sorry you felt pressured or pushed in your exhausted state. I was not in any way pushing for imediate results and postings. I did not want to miss a posting not knowing where to find it. I was merely requesting where they can be obtained from, when ready, as none of this information had been provided for those of us that did not know. Thank you for answering my question.

For everyone's information: Full NASS Show Critiques will be available at www.gsdinfonow.com as soon as humanly possible. We are also weighing the possibility of producing a Foto Urma type book for the event as well as calendars. Please check the club website regularly and be patient with us. Gayle Kirkwood

I'd like to thank Gayle Kirkwood and the Keystone-Buckeye Hundesport for putting on a great national show. I'm one of the few people who have actually helped organize and execute a regional confirmation show and trial and I have a real appreciation for exactly what it takes to put one of these together. The volume of paperwork alone is astronomical - and none of it is easily computerized. It takes good old typing skills to convert all the results into anything that can be posted on the web. This takes a fair amount of time - that's all there is to it - so we should all exercise patience. I was happy to be present and I was pleasantly surprised at the organization and execution by those who were running the show. I took many notes of things my club can do differently at our next show. Of course there's room for improvement as I made one or two little notes along those lines, but all in all it was an extremely well run event. Gayle and her crew should take a moment to breath and pat each other on the back as they did a great job.
