But I am only going once....

Kindnss, I am going and I know that my entry number is high. I do not know how the numbers break down, but I would not be surprised if there were at least 250 GSDs to be shown. Of course, some pull for a variety of reasons and some will be dismissed (if they are in the Working Dog Male/Female Class) for lack of their protection routine being successfully completed. But normally there is a good turnout.

Wow, this could be the biggest show yet in the United States. I am hoping to be there as a spectator and filming the whole thing. Is it true that no American bred dog over 1 year old can show there unless the tattoo is certified on the AKC pedigree document? What is the process to get this done? Are all the local shows for German Shepherd Dog Club of America Working Dog providing someone to do this between now and then? Does that mean that a officer of the organization will be at every show until the Big Show?

spaetzle, Over 12 months need a tattoo. If it's not done in the ear by 12 weeks with a clamp, It's usually done other methods. USA website should have all the info you need. It sounds like a good show on the horizon. Entries seemed healthy, (they didn't take late entries) I think attendance will be up from last year. I'll be there.

Oh, I thought we are talking about the Sieger Show in Germany! Too bad I cannot attend this one in Nevada :( Who goes to Germany??? When will the entries be accepted for it? Could someone from the US please share their experience of taking their dog to the German Sieger Show? Is it as crazy as it sounds? I would love to show my female there, but I'm very anxious as I've never been there!!!
