What is a GSH?

As a breeder myself I always answer emails with questions and a little information then I leave the next move the the potential buyer.

Though I do constantly talk to potential buyers that tell me that they don't get responces to emails.

I think that it is rude Not to respond at all. But that is just me.

Hi Rodger, German Shepherds

Thanks dogshome9 -  Gives me hope that there are still some Breeders with manners like yourself !! especially when one considers the amount of money wanting to be spent on purchasing a decent Shepherd puppy from buyers like myself !!

OH RIGHT GSDs. I have GSDs Malinois and Dutch herders. I always answer emails and request potential clients to call me or I call them to discuss what they know of the breeds, their experience and why they want a pup. I always encourage them to ask about my experience and dogs. Too often though you simply get Keyboard warriors who have no intention of buying but like to waste my time. A good breeder will often leave the ball in your court but will always answer your questions and indeed assess your suitability

Sometimes the first thing out of a buyer's mouth is - how much are your dogs? That's certainly a valid question, but if the impression is that price is the only criteria, then you may not get a response. Most GSD breeders I know are very good about answering inquiries about their dogs and the breed in general.

I've found when the first thing you ask is what health tests do you do on your dogs you can weed out the bad breeders quickly.
