Getting a new GSD puppy - help with naming him :) - Page 1

Hello everybody,

First time poster but long time forum observer here :)

The day has come,  I am receiving my GSD puppy today - it is being shipped to me :)))))

Since we (my family) could not come to the agreement for the puppy name, I would like to have fellow forum members input in puppy names suggestions :)

The male puppy is from the "N" litter. So far we were thinking of naming him "Nitro" "Nero"....but somehow those names seem to be, how to say, to simple kind of overused by everybody.......

At present it is hard to determine whether our puppy will be long coat or longer plush coat. ( I will post another thread for your opinions on this once I receive the puppy and make few pictures ). Regardless of coat type, I am sure that we will love this puppy.

Hi, there! Congrats on getting a new puppy!!  So glad you posted and hope you continue to post! Plus, we need pics when he arrives!!!!  

I stumbled across the name picker on this site. If you go to the left side of the site and scroll down you will see: Name Picker under the Collections section.  This might help you!!

Sorry I can't comment on pedigree but maybe a fellow forum member will be able to comment.

The name picker under "N" can be funny.  It suggested the name, "Nobody". LOL

I always liked Nemo.  Or how about Nova, he'll be sure to be a star.

Since you cant decide on a "name" how bout Nombre... Spanish for... name! Seriously though, wait until you see the pup and meet him, maybe he will tell you what his name is.  Sometimes the name just fits the dog. 

I let the puppy name itself... I have a name ORIN which is pretty powerful in menaing and then I have BOB..... he still needs to tell me he true name. I hope it will not remain Bob...he upgrater to Bober but we will see.
You can also call him NONAME until your family figures it out

How about Nixon, Nelson, Niko, Niall, Nat

My first male who got me involved in the breed and SchH was named Neeko.  I still like the name.  

I used Nemo and Nelor for my "N" boys. They're strong names and easy to enunciate. Good luck with your new puppy.
