Do you find a raw diet is better or is the Holistic foods like Buffalo a good thing for our dogs?

I use hollistic food, mostly because I'm not sure about raw diets enough, the thought of bacteria scares me. But I know a bunch rave about it, just a matter of personal opinion. I will say, however, that there are better hollistic foods than Blue Buffalo, not that it's bad, but if you're leaning more towards raw there's some other hollistic foods to think about.

I store my dogs raw food just as raw meat for human consumption. If it is not eaten within the next 2 days, it goes in the freezer.
I feed mainly raw, but sometimes it's unpractical to take raw meat on the road, so I have a limited ingredient dry food at home as well.

I swear by Taste of the Wild or Wellness.

Macrowe, there is plenty of bacteria in kibble. Look into some of the contaminations that occur in kibble.
There is no comparison between raw and kibble, really. If you must feed kibble, I would stay away from potato-laden foods cooked at high temperatures like most of the lower-to-moderate priced foods are going to be.
Here is a good vid explaining why this new "healthy" kibble craze isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I stick to RAW all the way, mine also love fruit and veg so they get that thrown into their bowls.
