lol - she's actually my Dutch imported BBS (White Swiss Shepherd Dog), so yes and no    She's a wee bit older than that now...but she's real good at the gremlin face still O.o  She's my first experiment with SchH...and she's working...slowly but steadily.

I would sincerely hope that people do not judge a pic such as this as someone abusing their dogs!  On my one and only attempt to truly stack my two girls, they did precisely the same exact thing!  It was because I was trying to stack them by myself and they were not sure what they were supposed to do.  And I can assure you, I do NOT abuse my girls.  Both of my girls have their ears back and it was more because they were unsure of what I wanted of them than anything else.  And, they are both young and inexperienced at this (as I am...well, perhaps not the "young" part ).

Oh yes, that dog is suffering soo badly *sarcasm* Why, the poor fellow looks almost as abused as this little creature here:

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/452688.html

See how scared she is, and how the handler has her hand clenched in a fist, obviously an abusive pose. Oh... wait! That's me and my girl on her first photo stack, and I had a handful of treats that I'd been tossing to get her to look towards the camera. Oops, guess I should've known the whole story.

(note to self: I've got to update her info at some point!)

You can't tell a dog's life situation just from one photo. It's like reporters using a quote out of context to support whatever aim they're trying to make with their article. In highschool the animal rights club took a pic of a very skinny dog in a yard, and called Animal Control. It turns out the dog was a foster from a shelter that had previously been in an abuse/neglect situation and the foster owner was trying to put some weight on the fellow and home-socialized it. The club had to write a formal appology to the owner, and got temporarily disbanded by the Head of School. They were just lucky he didn't press charges.

Making an unsubstatiatred accusation of abuse like that is a good way land yourself in a heap'o'trouble right quick.

Hmmm, no apology listed to the owners here, now THAT'S depressing. Farbeit for Brittany admit that she's wrong. Just quietly slink away like this thread never existed.

KCzaja ,

I'm just now getting to the bottom of this unnecessary drama that some people have caused (I wont mention any names). No I'm not walking away from this thread, I just haven't had the extra time due to computer problems.

LMH mention about viewing the video. I've tried several times by reloading the page to actually restarting my web browser and I still couldn't view the video. I'm able to view the video now, thanks to Ubuntu Linux :)

I reread my post and yes I actually made some mistakes, since I'm only human. I'm apologizing for the following quotes that I made, “It almost seems that the dog didn't wanted to do a stack that day so the owners gave him hard corrections and started forcing the dog to stack.” and “I hope hes not being abused”

Please understand that I'm a self taught perfectionist photographer and it kills me to see people use very bad pictures into advertising their dogs. I wish people can put some effort into taking half way decent pictures for advertisement purpose. They owe it to both potential buyer and to the dog thats up for sale.

I just found an advertisement that has a young dog for sale thats around the age of the dog in the advertisement that I was complaining about. The advertisement is located http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/classifieds/52084.html Now look how much happier this young dog is? I would feel confident enough to buy this young dog, If I was in the market in buying a show dog.

As they say "A picture is worth a thousand words"

Brittany:    You owe the owners of the dog you started this thread with an apology.  Next time if you don't like a picture just mind your own business, no one is impressed.

Funny, how you didn't mention photo quality at all in the original post, you just harped on the poor, poor "depressing and  pathetic" puppy.  Way to backpedal, no one's buying it.

Sueincc,

With all due respect, I don't need you to act like my mother. If I wanted to apologize, Which I did by the way, I'll do it. I don't need people telling me that I have to in a demanding way.

Kczaja,

I guess you need to take a gun and shoot me for not mentioning the photo's quality in my original post. That must be such a terrible offense in your law of book. Do you have everyones number here? or how about email? How can you say that no one's buying it? Do you have to think for everyone here or are you listening to the voices inside of you?

This will be my last post here unless if I see something interesting that's worth replying.
