I just got done looking at a most depressing and pathetic advertisement ad here. It almost seems that the dog didn't wanted to do a stack that day so the owners gave him hard corrections and started forcing the dog to stack.

Heres the adv ad:

Note for sellers: If the dog that you're selling looks like this on photos, you've just lost yourself a customer right then and there.

Poor dog, I hope hes not being abused. Such a sad looking puppy

What???  Were you there or do you know the breeder or do you have any first hand knowledge  from someone who was there taking the picture?  If you weren't there, I  think it's incredibly  unfair and really  irresponsible to suggest such a thing.

Sorry, but I dont see a depressive puppy. If this puppy would be scared, she would have tugged her tail between the leggs. You should learn more about dog behavior!!!

Awwww, it's just a pup and it looks terrified!

brittany,

young dogs often lack confidence.  it is not unusual for them to be quite handler sensitive as well.  very often, even the use of the hands to position them or teach the sit will get this sort of response.  the puppy does not look the least bit abused ;to me.  he just looks like a very puppy puppy.  in time he will become more confident and self-assurred.  i think you are being over critical where it is not justified.  puppies are very often soft in body and spirit, but it does not mean they have been abused.  even older dogs, hard dogs, have situations where they are confused and uncomfortable.......like going to the vet, and will appear to cower.

I don't think so... He looks like he's thinking about checking out the camera first hand to me.

Uh.....Brit.....check out the video.  You might want to rethink this one.  Couldn't get cuter than that........what a doll.

Doesnt look scared to me, just not perking the ears up, probably not completely trained yet.  I dont see anything other then the ears being down to indicate fear?   Is your post pure assumption or do you have evidence this pup was forced to stack using hard corrections?

In trying to stack my puppy, I acheived no pix even as good as that one, plus a bunch of photos of blurred tail, dog lying down rolling over, trying to lick the camera, standing with ears back, tongue hanging out, eyes rolled back at me, laughing at me....no doubt! jh

I wish I had a dime for every horrible, ugly, blurred, useless result I've had while trying to take a stacked photo of a young dog. I could buy that new Suburban I've been wanting.
