Just had a litter last night - this is my 4th litter in 10 years. I still get nervous as hell and am probably annoying the poor dam. Luckily, she's good natured and puts up with me.
We had 4 in all, 3 girls and 1 boy.

GSDtravels, look again, I think it's the angle of one puppy crawling over the other that gives the illusion of another pup. I just see 4.
Does that B/T look more like solid black or like a bi-color to anyone else?

DebiSue - the B/T female really fooled me at first. I thought she was a solid black. My other B/Ts in the past were pretty easy to tell they were B/T, but not this one. It took about 3 hours before I finally noticed some tan hairs on her face and legs. Perhaps she is a bi, though.
Sorry for the confusion. There are only four pups, not five. That first picture is just showing one of the dark sable girls twisting around at a funny angle, LOL.

I'm looking forward to more pics especially of the B/T girl. Really interested in how she looks as far as color. She's a puzzle all right. Keep us posted and enjoy the little bundles of joy!
