I think there is some truth to that the country we live have something to say
we dont have RING or KNPV here only schh and PH and rescue
they have just started a litle mondio ring training club here but there is not interest in it certainly not from any gsd owners or breeders unfortunately they only know and compete in schh only some mal owners train it
many in Denmark don't even know what RING sport is or KNPV
I would never buy a dog from here ever again unless it had other titles than schh
I do understand your point in buying a dog from what you need but the gsd should be versatile enough to do any sport if is bred well and the right genetics

However Schutzhund titles are so easy to come by. There are thousands of Schutzhund titled dogs (most SL and plenty of WL) that could never quality for French Ring titles but I'm sure that all French Ring titled dogs could qualify for Schutzhund. That's the difference. French Ring is just a better test of the dog's fighting drive at the moment.
French Ring also assure an athletic and proper size GSD.
