Just a joke here, if Jordanian wives get hands on weapons there will be many husbands dead in a few months? We may read in the paper, Mr. Tamim was shot dead today by Mrs Tamim, when she was asked about the reason why she shot her husband she replied it was the third day he forgot to throw the trash bag

Ibrahim, when/ if our gov attempts to suppress it's citizens, we will have more than rocks to defend our freedom...that is why our constitution allows US citizens the right to bear arms. It is to protect ourselves from rogue government. A crazy person will kill with or with out guns. Ted Bundy didn't use a gun and killed many innocent people. He was crazy, too. Our constitution is not stupid....

No your constitution is not stupid but that specific item is stupid, I have no info about any other constitution in other countries which allows weapon owning by ordinary citizens. Are all the other constitutions incorrect!!!!
I think we agree that many european countries have older civilization and much older constitutions without permission to own weapons and less armed crimes/accidents than in the US. True not crime free but less.
A crime can happen with or without arms, but arms provide a handy tool which can result in massive killings. If in case you think it is good in case your government suppresses your freedom the way to fight that is by weapons you are damn mistaken my friend, I know better.
I see what happened in Libya and Syria, fighting and killing is not a joke, hatred will remain amongst peoples of one nation for many many years, you don't want that to happen to your country and to your people, No Sir you don't want that.
What for does an American need a weapon for? Does he have reasons an English or German doesn't?

Freedom
Too much freedom is not a good thing, no it is not. A nation to continue needs a certain balance, once this balance slips great nations wither away. Freedom is a good thing but should be governed by certain limits to protect the whole society, what negatively affects the whole society is no more a personal freedom and it reaches a point where it becomes a crime towards the society. Your freedom ends where another's freedom starts.
I see very strange demands from certain groups in the US that is abnormal and not healthy for a society and does not go with human nature and instincts/build and some put it under freedom!!! this in itself is bad to what true freedom is.

unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. we have much to fear
from our government.......our government would not even protect our ambassador
to libya & he was government. what happens to countries who lose their guns?
they fall under socialism & communism. why? because they are unable to stop
it. i wish all governments were good and tried to protect their people.....they
don't. they want to control their people and guns get in the way. that is why they
confiscate guns.
