If you didn't want other people to get involved in your 'argument' then you really shouldn't have brought it to a public forum - what did you expect?
The 'financials' are between you and your breeder alone, but the price you paid was the price you agreed to pay, and you must still have been aware of the risk of HD? The amount you paid wasn't going to influence that.
I can't say what is a good or bad price for a well bred GSD, some say it is whatever you are prepared to pay, but presumably you did some research, and would have known what 'the going rate' was.
You say you have nothing out of it, do you have a dog that you love, and that is a loving companion?

I think everyone is missing the point here, this person is totally deranged and not worthy of owning a german shepherd. How can anyone possibly side with her, as already been stated in one of the posts this dog has been going over jumps since it was a young pup and also attending schutzhund training. Does Sue Belfield have anything to answer to !!!!!!! NO. Its time you dried your eyes and realised you are not going to make money out of this dog or Sue. Your puppy farm will be one bitch down or will you take the advice of the other numpty and breed anyway. Yes numpty thats what l said. Breeders please be aware of this so called dog lover think twice before you allow her to buy anymore pups.
