way off track, at least 20 meters. Be the solution is a great topic. When some one said it would be easier to list good breeders rather than the poor ones I thought this would become a ''self promotion theme'' and become another mess. Listing the bad breeders is a waste of energy.  While a large percentage of GSDs   become  pets, the person buying that specimen wanted most of what makes a GSD special. If they did not care even a little about GSDs they would pick another animal. The standard lays out a blueprint for the breeder to follow. You are not a breeder if you do not follow the standard. Get involved with the total dog. A breed survey [ Korung] is the best method to promote the correct matching of parents to produce sound GSDs. The breed survey is not  perfect in actuallity because of human frailities.  You must get involved at the ''grass root'' level. You will see which dogs work well, are healthy, and should be the parents of the next generation of GSDs. Trials, shows, and breed surveys become a problem when people do not know the dogs involved and have never seen them in person on the training fields.  Fighting over who did this or that is silly and does not get us any closer to an ideal. Work hard at your local club, if there are none start one. Work hard to learn how to train and breed. If we work with each other at the local level,  we will raise up the national and international level of the greatest breed in the world! The start of '' a solution''

WELL, It did not work out for jerseygirl. NOT with WILLOW VALLEY anyway. 500 dollars was deducted right off the bat as a NON-Refundable deposit even though a NOT FIT FOR SALE document was presented, PRIOR TO the Hip Dysplasia on top. I noticed since she was called on her deceptive practice, HER ENTIRE WEBSITE HAS BEEN CHANGED (which to me is a good thing). At least now she isn't telling her buyers coccidia comes with the pup. She DID offer a replacement pup to jerseygirl, from a different breederr, NO info on who the parents were and of course, NO guarantee. Makes you want to jump right on that one huh. She now has pups again, showing the mother, but no mention of the father, I may be wrong but I may be right, the father of Jerseygirls pup was blue, and she now has blue pups, This is just a proceed with caution, to anyone looking to get a pup. Chances are it is the same lines that produced the SEVERE HD that brought us here in the first place. I have become friends with jerseygirl through this and I will tell you, she is a very nice girl, with a heart of gold. It was wrong for a breeder to take such advantage of a person just trying to get a nice dog. ON THE GOOD SIDE OF THIS, Her parents bought her a BEAUUTIFUL New pup. VERY WELL BRED, AND GORGEOUS. I hope she shares his pics on a different thread. Just want to say,"Shame on anyone selling sick and suffering animals"

KitKat,
I am sorry to read that Willow Valley did not come through for Jersey Girl as she had promised, however it sounds like it may have been a blessing in disguise! So happy she has a new pup from a reputable breeder.

So, I didn't come through? UNREAL people! I have an entire blog on my website on this, no surprises. I didn't give her a new puppy because she has no job, is disabled, lives with her parents, has no transportation, and top that off, even the vet said she is in financial hardship. I have RECORDED TELEPHONE conversations with this girl AGREEING that she wanted to play like she had a contract. Though she didn't do anything outlined in my contract or she would have sent my dog back to me instead of putting it down, however, she couldn't pay for shipping on a new puppy either. So in the best interest of my puppy, along with alot of other weird things, that I have all emails on, I REFUNDED MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She couldn't afford the $400+ to ship a puppy, so ended up with more money not having to do that, to find one closer to her. It's all recorded. And based on all the drama you guys keep stirring up, I felt I needed to post a short conclusion. She was taken care of, under HER agreement that I have proof of. There is a lot to do with this story. I have nothing to hide and have posted in a blog on my website about just this. So true colors of this breeder, happens to shine through in the form of being concerned for the home a puppy goes to and that it is properly cared for. Even the vet stated that she under financial hardship. So if we want to air the laundry, and tell the truth, I have a whole lot I could say and make you all see this is someone that you do NOT want to deal with. Long and short of it, she wasin agreement with how this was resolved and WAS taken care of properly and received a REFUND of MONEY!!!

And KitKat, I'm not sure what personal issue you have with me, however, things you have said don't even make sense. The printing of NOT FIT FOR SALE on her paperwork is in DIFFERENT hand writing then what the vet paperwork is in. If the puppy had coccidia, you know damn well it can happen to anyone at any time. I'm not sure that this was the case or not as in a contract of mine they have 72 hours to have the puppy evaluated by a vet and if anything serious is going on, the vet can contract me and get a new puppy. Never happened. If it was unfit for sale, don't you think that would constitue a phone call from the vet? My contract says that someone must feed good quality food to ensure proper growth and hip formation, by her own admission good food wasn't fed, she couldn't afford it. The puppy never had it's proper vaccinations, wasn't neutered, as was supposed to be and varified by the vet. The dog was also presented to the vet for blood in the stool that that client had let go on for 2 weeks.Jersey girls sad story on was that he needed immediate surgery from an intestinal rupture. Lets try to use some simple logic here, if the dog had an instinal rupture over the course of 2 weeks before she took him to the vet, as paperwork indicates,  the dog would have been dead before he went to the vet. The vet also wanted to refer her out for that blood in stool since it's a Petsmart, and because of financial hardship, the client, jersey girl wanted to just put him down. Not my words or story, from the vet. NO OFA was done. In my contract, in order to have a hip warranty, a competent vet must do xrays and submit to OFA for proper evaluation and a report sent to me. Not done. This girl wanted to pretend she had a warranty and guess what, didn't do anything in a warranty/contract. The dog would have been sent back to me for replacement, if she would have followed contract, it was put down and I was never notified. I know a vast amount of breeders, ALL have contracts that must be followed in order to make them valid. How does this make me a bad person to honor something that wasn't even there. It's real easy to say what you would have done when you don't have the whole story. She agreed to what was set up as a resolution, again, I have all the emails and RECORDED telephone conversations with her to prove it. KITKAT your personal issues with me are now old. I DID take care of this girl.  If you have issues with me, instead of sitting online all day and creating drama and conflict, give me a call and resolve it like a grown adult.  I have no skeletons and no regrets. She knew that I was going on terms of the contract IF I were to refund money, of which I never do, but replacement doesn't work when the first dog was put down and I wasn't given the chance to take him back. Before anything was finalized I sent her a copy of the contract to read and she still agreed to it.  In ethical standing, I couldn't place another puppy in the situation this one was in. If YOU would place a puppy with this girl, that's you and your business, however my interest is in the best placements for my pups, and this wasn't one of those. This girl AGREED to the terms that were privately laid out between the two of us.  Perhaps you should give me a call and listen to what really happened in the workds of JERSERY GIRL on recording! Then you can leave me alone!

Willow Valley, this last post is almost 2 months old,YOU are the only one stirring the pot here, "what happened, sales slacked off",since you have been exposed?
The problem I have with you is first off, you took advantage of a nieve young girl, just starting out with German Shepherds, second, you breed dogs with KNOWN, hereditary defects,(father -son when father known HD and others here pointed out other dogs in your lines with HD), you exploit your Blue Shepherds AS Show Quality, and charge outrageous prices for them (from the same HD lines(and we all know Blue cannot be shown).
You make it out on your website that you have to keep your dogs,"protected",from the "big" breederrs, cause they all are dying to get your breeding stock, Shall I go on?o (too funny there),
YOU should take center stage on your "Wall of Shame", I mean really now, a Wall of Shame"
Ever hear the saying, "He that protesteth toooo much"
BTW- I did call you and Received first hand, your BS about the Blues and your. About your Blue dogs, and KNOW the father is jerseygirls dogs brother

And,just as a sidenote, Have you seen the beautiful, well bred Shepherd pup that unemployed, live with herr mom pup, she has now. Healthy as a Horse

I am also wondering, how did the pup you was offering "at a discounted price" make out. You know, the one that only problem was it needed an elevated dish to eat it's food?
(You asked what my issue with you is)
You might better have left sleepng dogs lie. I have not even thought about you in nearly 2 months. And hey, ask jerseygirl to send you pics of her new dog(pup), He IS, absolutely BEAUTIFUL !
