You're right, I don't remember her getting vulgar about things, but she was able to get her digs in :) She was just more savy about it :)  I don't think I saw the mess that you guys are talking about though.

There is a whole lot more that went on then most know.  There is a lot of water under the bridge and I am not going to get into it in any detail.  Hodie was not treated well or appreciated by certain folks here.  She is gone and I don't blame her one bit.  She will not be back as she has too much self respect to ever post here again.

Euroshepherds,
Glad to hear you are well.

As for Hodie....She is missed. I liked reading her posts and she was always very polite and forthcoming with information when I spoke to her. I have the upmost respect for her. As several here have said, I dont blame her for not posting again either. She was treated very badly. Another great person who is greatly missed here. Glad to hear that she doesnt have damage from the fires.

Keith and Slamdunc are correct- there were other much more serious issues in Hodie's life at the time. However, the attacks by individuals, (who have since been banned), as well as the irresponsibly vicious action by one of publicizing personal information (as referenced above) led to the final straw.

When Hodie first exited andmany of us were concerned, I emaiked and called Hodie. I received much the same response Denwolf did. She seriously washed her hands of the pdb and everyone involved with it in any way, including her friends and supporters. It is a true loss.

I agree,
Hodie had issues beyond this forum.
At the time no one seemed to care or offer a helping hand, and yes she is a proud woman who would never ask.
She once told me I sit a fence on certain issues, it was good advice.
I don't see her returning for any reason.

Hodie was not abandoned, Moons, she was offered help but wasn't able to accept it.

I didn't say abandoned.
I know that's how it sounded.

Either way she made her own decision and I don't see that changing.

Blitzen is correct--Hodie was offered help, including financial help,  and absolutely refused it.   She is a very proud and independent woman.

To be clear, I was referring to issues on this site and folks that are still here as the reason Hodie no longer posts here.  I was not getting into her personal life at all, but referencing how she was treated on this forum.

If Hodie does read this forum from time to time; I hope all is well and my best wishes go out to you.  If I can do anything to help you, or if you just want to talk dogs you know how to reach me.
