Ok, just had a 1st vet visit...rabbies shot, nails clipping, weight, age estimate and check for a chip.

No chip found, so he got microchipped...
Got Rabbies shot...
Estimated age 2.5 years old.
His Weight is 67 pounds....i asked them to double check..and sure sh*t he is 67 pounds..tech was very polite in trying to tell me and show me that if i run my hand over his ribs and can feel them he needs some weight on (she had no idea I just got him)....well i knew he was on a thin side but you could have knocked me over with a feather...he is bigger than Dozer and Dozer is 89 pounds, Bailey my smallest one is 64 pounds...this dog is seriously under weight...
so, I am out to get stocked on food, suppliments and raw beef....

You're not supposed to be able to feel ribs?

I think she was trying to tell me in every way w/o offending me that he is too damb skinny...I did not feel like explaining so I just listened to her and said ok...i just did not think he was 67 pounds...i am not a fan of fat dogs by any means, but he does need some muscle and meat on him...

My only point is that every vet or tech I've met w/few exceptions thinks fat dogs look fine and dogs who are in shape are too skinny. I would never let a dog get to the point where I couldn't feel its ribs. I didn't think he looked emaciated in his pics and 67 isn't that bad...I've seen GSD males at 39...now that's bad. He'll be looking great in no time.

Does he have an ear tattoo. He looks "pure bred" Czech dog.

Nope no tattoo....
no tags, no chip....makes you wonder why would that not be done on such a gorgeous boy...

Jen you are probably right.... but he can definitely use more exercise and build more muscle, he has very low stamina...1 hour of running and playing and he was pooped out...

He could use 5lbs of good lean muscle, probably. Isn't that amazing when you get a young dog w/no stamina? You wonder what kind of boring life they led that they had such little exercise.

Pretty boy. Congratulations to both of you.
