JERSEY GIRL....PAY CLOSE ATTENTION...IF your pup had bad hips, it had bad hips...you can breed dogs with good hips and still produce a pup with bad hips...I have told you this before. YOU call ME, you just said you have a phone, use it, you send ME the info. and docs, xrays, etc. from the vet. There is no need to keep stiring the pot, unless it's a bunch of attention that you want out of this, CALL ME and SEND ME the info...no one else on here can do anything for you!!! If it's documented and true, why wouldn't you come to ME...call me and send me necessary paperwork to see if you can get some kind of remedy instead of posting issues in an online forum, no one here can do anything for you, unless it's a massive amount of sympathy and trouble you want. I think this is clear enough for you to understand, CALL ME AND SEND ME DOCUMENTATION! Having a pup to replace isn't an issue, every breeder has done it or will do it, at some point, the problem arrises when you don't validate what you are saying and don't communicate!!!  AGAIN...CALL ME! Getting you a different pup, WITH A CALL, DISCUSSION, and VET DOCUMENTS, isn't a big deal!!!! But you need to call. How is that for public display for you...I will replace your puppy, but I need a call, some communication, and records. PERIOD!!! No more emails and nasty posts...if you want my help with anything, you will call and provide what is asked for.

WV - if you re-read my post, I specificly stated I received constructive critisim with the lol with it (that. Was sarcasim, from my end), and I meant , you should have known, if you did not know, about the HD in the sires immediate bloodline. You can blame another breeder for using their dogs, and producing a litter you were not happy with, even more reason to. Replace the HD dog, of course after medical verification, BUT , YOU are the breeder YOU chose which dogs were to produce the litter YOU were selling and guaranteeing .YOU. Jerseygirl submitted x rays of Justice and his bad hips, they are on the all breed forum in case you havn't seen them yet . I think the mods mean they don't want bashing without proof of harm, so, I am sure you would like this to suffer the kiss of death, but it is a very credible, substantiated complaint. The only reason I am even involved this far is I feel very bad for jerseygirl. She was very uneducated about unscrupulous breeders when she got her dog, I do talk to her, and I myself bought HD 20 years ago along with a hand written totally false pedigree, from a breeder, much like you. $$$$ is the name of the game. People nor dogs should have to literally suffer because someone either don't know what they are breeding, OR JUST DON~T CARE

Willow Valley, I did not see your post telling jerseygirl you will replace her pup before I posted mine. Thatt is the RIGHT thing to do, and I applaud you for it. Like I said earlier, some of your dogs look very nice .I just feel anyone breeding is responsible for what they produce, and to all the posters that say they take their chances on a pup, THEY ARE VERY EDUCATED IN GERMAN SHEPHERDS, PEDIGREES, HIP SCORES, KENNELS ETC.,ETC.,,and are making informed choices. I am done with this issue here. I hope it works out now for buyer and seller.

Jersey girl, did you submit those Xrays to OFA? They are VERY poorly done! Your vet does not know how to position! The legs are basically as crooked as they could possibly be. I doubt that OFA will accept them. That being said, anyone can see that the hips are bad despite the poor position. Let's hear you contact your breeder and work it out between the 2 of you. She seems willing to work with you, so no more need to take up space on this forum until you have worked it through. Looking forward to hearing that it's all been worked out.

I don't think this is a productive thread and have to agree with GSD Admin.
I don't know if you all remember someone coming on here a couple of years ago with complaints about me? In a nutshell she said the dog was a submissive pee'r, and had giardia and an eye infection.  The eye "infection" was just an irritation, probably due to being on the tarmac at 3 different airports on her way to her owner, and was gone with just 2 applications of ointment. The peeing went away and was just an age and stress thing. Of course the giardia was stress related and was quickly taken care of.  Just to update you.... She contacted me last year about getting her rebate for OFA hips (that passed BTW) and sent me a photo of the dog winning 5 first place awards in obedience in just one weekend AND that this dog was #2 obedience dog in the entire country of Canada in 2011! I sold her as an obedience competition dog and she more than fulfilled the potential I said she had. The owner has taken down all the negative postings in various places on the internet and has acknowledged that she got what she paid for and wanted.  So now years later, all is well, but YOU didn't know that until I told you and who knows how many lists I am still on from this one incident that proved to be unfounded. I'm not complaining or asking for sympathy, all is well here, BUT what I am saying is many many of these things are not as they appear at first and to judge a breeder by one complaint and one person's perception is not fair.

Am very happy with my WKD-UK pups. They bark, they bite, they play, they eat, they haven't shied from anything ever. Ask me again in 2 years. :) Taking (one of) them on the field for the first time tomorrow. :) They are 4 and 5 months right now. Good guarantee from breeder (will take back if not satisfied), reasonably priced and non stop communication since before getting either. And their peds aren't so bad. ;D

Wow guess this was the thread to show true colors in a breeder. BUT like most things, it seems to have worked out for Jerseygirl.

I say.... skeletons always come out of the closet...so if you have any...better clean up now before your exposed. As big as the dog world is ..... its really very small.

Happy 4th those in the US.

You started it, good job fixing it and good luck with your pup.

My pups also track and sleep well (forgot to put that in the first post).

To quote the breed's founder:

Do right, and fear no one.

It's not the easiest thing to do, but it IS certainly the easiest way to stay out of trouble...as well as preserve a good name and reputation.

As with anything there are some people that will do the right thing and some that will not.  I am glad things worked out for Jersey Girl.

There are some of us that have bred untitled dogs.  That by itself is not anywhere near as disturbing as people that breed dogs with no health testing or breeding dogs that are known to produce problems.

I think if more breeders made the effort to title what they produce there may be some changes.  I know that it has changed my perspective.  While there is nothing wrong with hiring it done I think that you gain a real understanding of your dogs if you do it yourself.

Best Regards,
Cheryl
