I can say the same for number 11.

Wow! Didn't see the numbers! Definitely no. Seven is my pick.

Well i do like looking at these threads but just have to say that some are stunning but have to agree that SOME of the toplines are just far to much but thats just MHO, just like to say that Vanesko Vom Salztalblick has a lovely outline so natural and workman like yet still glamourous. Yes he is not perfect, a little steep in the upper arm i feel but otherwise a lovely German Shepherd.

myret - if you look on this page of your topic, you will find a dog standing normally and then stacked......

in the normal stance you will see she has a flat back and is not overly angulated, but when stacked her back is rounded and she looks overly angulated.

if others would show photos of their dogs both stacked and then standing normally you will start to understand the most of what you call roached is actually the postion in which the dogs are stacked....

Mine is #5.  Not hard to guess from my original list.  Lets keep em up.  Too early still to end the test.

Everyone- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the time to go back and name the dogs in all of your posts...easpecially on the first page!!!! It's hard for us newbies to know who they are and some are so stunning that I would like to find out more information about them but don't know their names!!!! Thank you!!!

For example..who is the black sable on page one with the photgrapher being S. Neuhold (this is my favorite dog shown)? What about the black sable on page 2 listed as number 2 and also number 7!  Forget the name game and just list the studs..hehehehe

Or..PM me please on these 3 dogs!!! Thank you!!

I bet most of these dogs are not even in this country. So unfair..make me drool like that for no reason!!

Can you breed via AI and still end up with an American bred SV registerable puppy?  That might give me a shimmer of hope....hahaha

1 is stretched, but well muscled
2 has a nicer shoulder, but upper arm is a bit steep
3 has good shoulder and longer croup
6 has a good head
11 has steep croup
12 looks very powerful, overall decent conformation
13 is my favorite, though his upper arm is a bit short.

no dog is perfect, all of the examples are well above average.....
i would be proud to own any of these dogs......
