what happened here that she stopped posting???

by andhourspass on 29 June 2013 - 22:06

Euroshepherd, nice of you to stop by. Glad you're doing well!

Was Hodie the one with the heeling cattle dog in her avatar? I don't recall what happened that sent her packing but it is a shame. Seems like a lot of knowledgeable and/or enjoyable posters have hit the road in recent years.

No, Hodie did not have the cattle dog in her avatar.

I have no idea who I'm thinking of then. Clearly, not Hodie! Tongue Smile

Actually, although I could be  wrong, I think Hodie stopped posting when her and wpool went at it and wpool disclosed hodies complete name and some private info about her that included hodie having a litter of pups on the ground, at that time, from an untitled female.(not the end of the world or nothin).
But I am pretty sure that the battle between the two got ruff and tumble, and then, "there were mods"...

I'm not going to get into details, suffice to say that some here treated her very badly and she just didn't think it was worth the effort to deal with it anymore. There was little moderating at that time and the database bullies took advantage of that. If Hodie wants to post here again, she will do that. If not, then who would blame her?

by zdog on 01 July 2013 - 16:07

She gave as good as she got most of the time.   She had no problem telling someone exactly what she thought of them.  When the tables turned she took her ball and went home.  Can't blame her, most of what goes on here is pretty pointless yet here I am :)  Must be a slow day at work

zdog, Hodie knew how to defend herself, but I've never known her to call anyone here the vulgar names that some called her. Maybe  you don't remember that,  I do.

I've known Hodie since before this forum was here and there was more to it than just the this.  She had some other issues she was dealing at the time with and the combination of those and the environment here at the time were more than she was willing to deal with.  We may see her again some time; this would not be her first hiatus from the forum.  In the meanwhile, I hope she's well.
