It will be just my luck that with all of the hours of lost sleep, she will have them right smack dab in the middle
of the day just to spite me LOL. I have been staring at her willing her to have the puppies.... I don't think it is
working. grr... I was hoping for some puppy pictures to show by now also :)

Update:

Temp has consistantly dropped from 100.7 yesterday evening to 100.4, 99.5, 99.2 and 98.4 about 20 minutes ago. Digging in the whelping box
and still refusing food. Won't be long now!!! I hope!

So after a sleepless night last night and gallons of coffee later, Gretchen decided to start having her puppies at 1:30 pm.
The first was born not even 10 minutes after I got home from going out to get dog food. She seemed like she was resting
comfortably and no puppies in sight. Yeah right.

So the count is up to 2, both girls, both black and tan. One much darker than the other.

Will keep you updated and will definately post pictures of the family after all puppies are here :)

Hurray.  When you get a moment, PM me a contact email that I can send people your way if they are interested in a GSD.  Most will be strangers to me; I'll filter some before I give out the info (like do they know what a GSD really is; do they seem at least on the surface as good people).

ADDED:

Most people coming to me are really only looking for home level GSDs.

Think our final count is 10 (though I wouldn't be surprised if there's one more waiting for us in the am)

I'll try and get better pictures in the morning, but this will have to do until then. I'm pooped.

Think I'll be taking a nice long nap today LOL.

Final count 3 males, 2 sable/fawn (have no idea what they're going to look like, but they look like every sable newborn I have ever seen.) one black and tan.
7 females 3 black and tan, 4 sable/fawn
