ok, we tried Kato, Cooper, Briggs, Seven....my hubby called "Tank" and dog came running to him...so..Tank it is....
at one point i called him "dumb a$$" which turned into a Dumas but than he proved that he is not as dumb as he been acting
tonight he learned "down" he also picked up "shake" and we think he figured out what "bed" is....he went to it last 2 times i told him go to bed, where before i had to drag him there....he wants to please which is great...just lacks discipline....
so we have:
Tank and Dozer (as in Tank and Dozer from Matrix)
Misty and Bailey

Elkoor, did you chip those pups? Yikes; I had the same exact thought when I looked at him.
LF- how did you get him intact and why is he being neutered now instead of before if he's a rescue?

Jenni, not all shelters or rescues automatically neuter or spay intact animals that come in, nor do they all hold on to them until the surgery is done, once someone has been approved to adopt them. In some instances, it's because they don't have the funds to 'waste' on sterilization surgery for a dog that might end up being put down if he or she isn't adopted for whatever reason; in others cases, it's because they use volunteer vets who donate their time once per month, so they adopt out the animal and put them on the schedule to be neutered the next time the volunteer practitioner is available.

Wow, LadyFrost - he is stunning! Reminds me a lot of my male, especially the picture of him sitting looking sideways with his ears back. They look like twins. Please, post more pics!
How about Panzer - which is German for "tank" ?

Hexe is right... there is a shelter around here who adopts dogs out for I believe $75, but then when you bring in the proof of spay/neuter, they'll give you a $50 refund... I believe they give you like 30 days to get it done or they will come and 'repo' your dog.
(not positive on the pricing, but I know it is close to that...)

Jenni
I have 30 days to take care of everything or return him, and since I prefer my vet and my vet donates "educational" hours at the location it was no big deal, I left with apt scheduled for Tuesday Sept 4th, I just needed to call back and confirm it once i had a name....which i did this morning.
Elkoor and I been emailing back and no it is not one of her pups, almost wished it was than I would have had some info of the back ground.....unfortunately he has no ball drive at all, he can't even catch a ball even when it hits him square in the face....however his food drive is a different story....
:)
