I don't understand the point of your side note--are you talking about the appearance of dogs who win the sieger show?

Yes the appearance of dogs, it seems the slope gets more and more with each winner.....

If someone is willing to answer this question it can help me have more knowledge. Would  you guys consider this dog "100% DDr"

^^^^Not even remotely.^^^^^

Thanx Felloffher. If you dont mind what "lines" would you say this dog is?  Are the dogs in the ped. not DDR?

No, Reggie. They're not. None of them on the first page are, anyway.

Why would you think any of them were DDR?

This stuff baffles me. I have clicked on ads for "pure DDR" dogs and seen not one DDR in the ped. What do people think DDR dogs are, anyway???

SG Cliff vom Ostend in the 3rd generation is from DDR parents. The rest of the father's pedigree is German working lines. The bottom half of the pedigree is all Czech.

Yes the appearance of dogs, it seems the slope gets more and more with each winner.....

Oh... I thought you might have something to say on the topic at hand.

I have an outstanding young female that is linebred on Sven 3 - 3 first time in the water in January (northern Vermont) at 3 months old stepped in the stream crossed it and never hesitated and acted as if she was still walking on the ground! First time in strange places she acts like she's lived there her entire life! So I would say her nerve is exceptional.

Here's her pedigree
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=696841

I also have this video of her, this is the first time she was exposed to gunfire.

Here she is at 8 months of age

I also own a Puck son who is outstanding! His hunt drive is second to none and will not give up! He will retrienve a penny in the pasture! His working drive is high, videos of him working will come in the VERY near future!

I dont recognize the difference between Czech and DDr and apparently some German working lines. Thanx Blackthorn that's what I was wondering that will help me understand what I am seeing.

so many breeders ??? advertise ddr or mostly ddr..saw a litter here as such.. looked at the pedigree and found 1 ddr dog in the 7th gen..pdbreeders.com...either ripping the unknowing off or they have been ripped off ..either way they should know what they are breeding ..read this ad..our dogs are mostly ddr so they dont have genetic hip dysplasia disorders..what a load of crap.... so they dont x.ray their dogs...because they cant get hd...you got some real ignorant people breeding out there....beware
