Calm down 4pack LOL these are usually just high schoolers.  As far as indestructables, the best I have found are the big tire biters.  Besides, they are a good laugh when you see the dogs pick them up and run with their noses poling through the hole and looking through it to see where they are going.

"my dog would be the correct hair "version"

LOL!!!  4PACK:  Ever since I've had working GSD's I'm asked "what's he mixed with?"  I like watching my dog play with the giant egge.  He looks & sounds rather demented trying to drag the thing around with his front legs while making OoooooOOOOOoooo sounds.

Sue, we have the egge's in a wading pool.  What a kick to watch them trying so hard to get the egge out.  The other toy we have, besides Jolly Ball of course, is the Teaser Ball.  They last quite a while but the Jolly Ball is the favorite.  Time to order some more for us too.  Check out horse.com, free shipping on orders over $50 and the big Jolly's are on;y $15.00

When it comes to Baden, I don't think there such a thing as an "indestructable toy"

OK not "indestructible" but lasts more than a day!  I'm cool paying $15 for a toy that lasts 6 months, heck even 2 months as long as he gets his entertainment with it. Definitely getting another Jolly Ball for the Doo.

Boa starts out by chewing the handles off within a few days.    After that they last for quite a while.

Exactly what my dingaling would do. That is why I don't bother with the handled ones and go for the rope through the ball instead.  The handle on the giggly wiggly gave me pause too. I think that would be something he could have outside of the kennel supervised in the backyard.

Oh by the way... anyone know of a indestructible hose? I just had 60 of my 75 ft hose taken out. Guess what I will be picking up AGAIN this weekend?

Strangely enoough, Arkanes favorite toy is this weird rubber  chicken called Henrietta.   The noises it makes when squeezed are bazarre.

Here is a link to a neat toy I just found on KV Vet supply!  I love that place!  They have the Rhino (like a Kong but smells like vanilla) and the large one is about 8 dollars.

Anyway this link is not the rhino but a summer time toy!

4pack, I too have a Grade A Hose Destroyer.  After the third 75' hose from the house faucet to the vegetable garden was converted into 5' fragments a couple weeks ago, I finally wised up - or so I thought.  Anyway, I bought some 1 1/2" PVC electrical conduit at Home Depot (about $2 for a 12' section) and buried it in the lawn.  I attached a 90 degree elbow at the faucet end, buried the conduit about a foot deep in the lawn, and ran it under the 4' garden fence, putting another elbow at the end, and running the hose through each section as I attached it to the previous one.  Then I built a box with a hinged lid and put it around the faucet so he couldn't get at the hose where it was exposed there.

Notwithstanding the craters Orbis dug in the lawn to expose the conduit, he couldn't get at the hose and I was pretty proud of myself for outwitting him.  For all of two days, anyway - when I got home to find that he had jumped the 4' garden fence and destroyed the hose from the other end.  I'm thinking concertina wire or perhaps land mines might have to be employed.

He still isn't showing much prey drive at the schutzhund club, but that dog has Hose Drive in spades.
