Thanks Blade and Duke. The strength of the dogs in any breeding is what a buyer should be considering, but this is especially important with line-breeding, IMO. Because the genetic contributions are being condensed in a line-breeding, it is critical that those dogs on which the line-breeding is based bring strength and desired characteristics.
As with purchasing any pup, even from strong breedings, it is a gamble as to what the pup will become, but with research and knowledge (breeder's and purchaser's) a buyer can increase the odds of getting a good prospect.

I arranged for a brother of Thor to go to a young man here in NJ. The dog is on a farm. He is a really nice dog! Very strong in character, doesn’t back down from anything, aloof but very approachable.
Btw, I worked and saw a lot of dogs out of Harro L , some twenty years ago. He produced some really strong dogs when bred right.

duke.
haven't seen anything on Furo beside quite often prizing for him in discussions. for Mambo there are more info. in video he did make good impression. we used to call that type of dogs "hussar". very bold and unstoppable type.
sadly seems like after his relocation to USA he just fall into oblivion. at least seems nothing left, what can be considered like continuation of his legacy... beside hundreds of "nice doggy" with his name in pedigrees.

Joana seems like a breeder who cares more about what she produces, than about sales.
it's pity she wasn't familiar with former Eastern breeding. i'm sure she might like this type of dogs and she could be willing build her breeding program to reach similar goal.
