Thanks so much for your consideration-it is greatly appreciated!  I have been very fortunate indeed today-the vet called this morning stating that the Mass was GONE!  She then requested permission to do a barium contrast which was finally completed late this afternoon-it proved that all three sections of Kion's stomach was stretched (she has had two emergency foreign obstruction surgeries plus having her stomach tacked four years ago) thus the mass the vets found had been the last section full of food and fluid and the stomach may well have tried to flip.

I cannot begin to express the relief I feel-she is spending tonight and tomorrow at the clinic for observation and I hope to be done with my route early enough to bring her home tomorrow evening-the vet wants her on a bland diet and restricted liberty for awhile to allow healing.  I am indeed very thankful!

Outstanding........That couldn't be better news. I don't know if this would help her in the future or not - I had my female tacked when she was spayed and still give her a gasX with every meal. She never had any problems but I prefer to err on the side of caution where bloat is concerned.
