62-63 days is the norm...I really wouldn't be expecting pups til 'at least' day 61.

I don t know that I EVER had an earlier delivery day,

Thank u everyone for ur replies. Sorry I haven't been on the past few days. Well we made it to 63 days. She is 63 days as of today but as far as I know she isn't showing signs of labor yet but I know she's carrying them in her ribs cuz I can feel soccer ball like figures there. Last night around 10pm her temp was 99.9 but this morning it's been 100.3 and it feels as though one of the soccer ball like figures have moved down a bit.

Tonight at the latest tomorrow.  Anything past this call your vet and talk to her/him.

Let us know the count

I definitely will thank u. I did however call my vet two days ago and they weren't worried about the temp fluctuating and did tell me it would be possible for my dog to be a week late but I'll definitely call them tomorrow if nothing happens. She doesn't want to eat much but she'll eat her favorite treat. I had a dream a few days ago that she had 11 puppies but idk how she could have that many and me not know it in her figure lol

Ok so I took my dog Sadie temperature at 1pm and it was 99.8 when should I take her temp again? Last night at 10pm it was 99.9 so should I consider this a good indicator?

by spidercrys on 24 June 2014 - 20:06

Her temp at 140 was 99.5

When taking the temp you should be consistent about the times and the activity that the dog was doing as well.

Don't forget that you need to take the temp AFTER whelping for a week to make sure there is no infection forming.

I took her temp again and it's 99.1 she's been sleeping all day

You should follow her lead and take a nap too
