Some dogs love to throw those noisy Cuzs down a flight of stairs. I think they like to hear the nose they make every time they hit a step

My female gsd loves to throw beef bones. Broken toe still bothers me to this day and 55 gallon aquarium finally got replaced.

Melba, Rose will do the same thing with my husband and I.  She loves keep away.  She is teaching her pups this too. It has only been in the last 5-6 weeks that the puppies take it as being ok if they try for the toys.  I noticed this week they are now instigating the keep away game with Rose.

It is great to watch them play.

I have a GS named Samantha and she throws things. Recently at the vet she, threw a tantrum because they were taking too long to check us out. Do you know the yellow Caution Wet Floor Signs?  She was pacing and whining and when I told her we had to pay before we could leave she took her paw and smacked the sign so hard it skidded across the floor. LOL. The noisy and crowded waiting room got quiet and we all burst out laughing at the same time. The expression on her face said I told you I was ready to go. The counter person checked us out immediately and Samantha switched out of there with a look of satisfication on her face that still tickles me to this day.

And she throws things to get your attention. I have noticed that one of her daughters bounces a tennis ball through the house and catches it to amuse herself. It is so cute. I love this breed. I have four, Samantha and 3 of her offspring, and each of them has a different personality and talent.

I have had an everlasting ball tossed into the middle of my dinner on several occasions... they also seem to appear in the midst of my keyboard if I'm paying too much attention to the computer and not enough to the black dog patiently waiting for me to toss his ball...  LOL not sure that counts

My male likes to toss his balls/bones... especially when we are not paying attention to him.  He also does this weird head swinging thing on command.... I liken it to a silverback gorrilla showing his dominance.. .lol.. he puts his head low... and violently swings his head back and forth with his toy in his mouth... he actually will do it on command when we yell "Scoooby doooooo!".

LOL @ everyone's stories!  Love them.

One of these days I'm going to have a dog that picks up multiple toys/balls in their mouth, I love seeing pics of those dogs with 2, 3 or 4 balls in their jaws.

Amysavesjacks, my little girl Cera LOVES the toys that are floppy. She does the same violent head swing (to the point of turning herself in a circle) with
the toy and intentionally beats herself in the sides. LOL She'll stop and look at you smiling...

Melba, Amy, one of my friend's working line female does that, with a kong on a rope toy, just whips it around and beats herself with it, I think she must be armored like a rhino.

Casey James always throws things.  He throws his ball but especially loves to throw his rubber fish in the air. He especially especially especially loves to toss it in the air, with lots of neck thrust, right into the pool after I have told him "nooooooooooo pool!" Then I get the "but, oh Mommy- my fish just ended up in the pool!!! Waaaaaa- should i go get it?"  LOL. He is one smart ass dog!
