I must say I have little respect for the expertise of the author of "dogfoodanalaysis".

TMats is the recall not "done and gone"..... I feed, have fed, and will continue to feed 4Health Salmon made by Diamond to my Huskies. None of them ever have gotten sick from it, and they all do fantastic on it. Not to mention it's a good price, one 35 lb bag ($33 after tax when it's on sale about $38 when it's not on sale) lasts my adult Huskies combined 3 weeks. Coats are soft, stools are good, energy is good, the dogs love it, and they've done better on this than pretty much any food they've been on.

No I am not at all bothered with the recalls in Diamond feeds. I've been feeding it for 15 yrs and have NEVER had a sick dog on it, no one bloated, everyone has lustrous shiny coats, bright eyes, great energy, nice tight stools, and most importantly they LOVE it and eat it up. I've tried other brands through the years and have never been as satisfied on anything as much as I am with Diamond. I feed everyone 6 months and up the Hi-Energy, pups on the puppy food. I've been very satisfied with it.

Recall didnt bother me either.. I feed Taste of the Wild... and just an FYI.. Diamond is not the only food company out there with food recalls for Salmonella... I figure my dog could get Salmonella from eating the dead deer guts that hunter left out in our field easier than from the food (boy is that ever a FOWL SMELL). Humans on the other hand are another story and that was the biggest reason for the recalls.
Here's a great website to check if you are looking for a quality kibble... https://www.dogfoodadvisor.com
@Krazy Bout K9's... from what I have read, I didn't think it was advisable to feed a mixture of kibble and raw diet (or I would have been doing this forever), due to the fact that the two types of food digest at different rates and cause maldigestion issues. Anyone else have input on that?

I have been feeding my girl Back to Basics. She loves it and she looks great.

I used to feed 1/2 raw and 1/2 kibble for years. Yah, there are ways to argue.. but hell I myself don't separate my meals.
So yes, there are risks in every way of feeding... but in the many years I had no problems. Many people I know feed like that and no problems.
