North Texas Rescue says they cannot pull him :(

They said they have too many dogs, then theyy said he was to be euthanized today at 1:30. I lost it and called the shelter but they refused to put me through to the rescue coordinator. They told me that his stray hold is up today. I begged to talk to the recue coordinmator, NICELY, which is hard for me, under these circumstances, but I swear I was as sweet as I could be. She said they field callls for te coordinator and I couldnt talk to her. OMG- I said if he has to be out today, there is no time to waste but I got nowhere. I guess the only way this dog is gonna get out alive is if someone shows up at the shelter.

Got it, they said they would call me back, said he is NOT on the EU list, he is available for adoption today at 1:30.
They ahve to hold him to see if his owners SHOW UP for a certain amount of days. Then they have time on the adoption floor. He is NOT critical...
I told them I would pull him in my name, Eric will foster till we either find transport or another foster.
Don't panic....he is NOT CRITICAL YET!!!!

I am getting conflicting info :( why would Texas rescue tell me he was going down today or tomorrow morning?? I definitely have a spot for him in a rescue so all help would be appreciated. You guys r the best!

Susan just called from the shelter. The rescue that has offered to take him will fill out the paperwork. Once they have been approved if someone could hold for transport we could set things in motion:)
