The thing is if Jan continues to copy our threads and post them on his blog his IP will be banned and then he will not be able to even read here.
Or the simple thing to do would be to delete our material off his blog and become a member again. That would be the easy thing to do but I guess circumventing the rules by having a friend post also might work as well.

GSD,
I will not intervene in your disput with Jan, you know how I feel about this.
Since I have been a few times around the block when it comes to GSD's and what goes on, and how things are done, I dont need anybody to tell me what & how to post something.
But since I am a considering person, open for different views, I might just take the liberty to see if I can be of help to further shed some light on stuff that might help to get our breed back on track.

Uli I know you and Jan are very passionate about the breed and the work Jan is doing. I have no problem with facts being posted. We have discussed this in multiple PMs. I do have a problem with people saying FACT this dog will lose its title when in fact the SV said the investigation was still ongoing and no decisions had been made as to the title.
Everyone wants to trumpet the SV saying yes a fraud was committed but when they also said the investigation and punishment has not been decided all of that was overlooked.
From an outsider looking in(me) it looks like why follow what the SV is saying unless it fits into your agenda.
Post facts and we have no problems, post your opinion as fact before the facts are released and yes if there are complaints it will be looked at by the admins, not just me. You forget there are 5 admins behind me and I am only the public face of the decisions which I have no problem doing but OUR decisions are made as a team and not one admin. Ask them they will all tell you I am very strict on the lone wolf admin.
If you want to intercede on your friends behalf the best bet is to get him to remove the material copied from this site as we are not knowingly going to allow our copied threads to be posted elsewhere in the hopes of making us look complicit with the SV.

GSD,
I dont know where Jan ever wrote that Harley will loose his title, it was surely said from various side that he indeed should loose it. Jan did say that Jaguar should loose his titel - and he did, not all of them, but all the titel that were achieved in Germany.(placing BSZ,Körung) If Harley would be registered in Germany, he would have lost his titel and placings aswell - but he was not, so he keeps it.(See what happened to offspring of Tell) That was just not known to Jan at that time - he assumed that Harley is, looking at the whole scenery; fraud with Jaguar; it is more then understandible that he had that assumption.
In regards to the stud dog issue - Harley is still been shown, hm, why ?
Well, GSD - in a different post you claimed all decisions were made by you & you alone because you were mad at Jan - now there are 5 of you - so be it, does not really matter to me.

My issue with all of this is that it would appear that Jan has been held to a different standard than other posters. I do think that if any moderator has a personal issue with a poster that he/she should remove themselves from moderating that person. Objectivity is part of moderation and personal issues make objectivity difficult or nearly impossible.

The standard is he copied a thread from this forum on his blog and it is against our rules. Any person who copies our threads is subject to banning. I even wrote Jan and asked him nicely to take down our thread and instead he posted my PM which I clearly said in the PM that it was private communication. Then to say we are complicit with the SV is a flat out lie--we are in no way affilated with the SV--which is required to be complicit. You guys can't see I don't give a ripped about the SV but I do care when things are posted as fact when in fact the final decisions had not been made.
Let me start posting PMs and breaking all the rules. I bet we hear some complaints.
This all started with Jan for posting our private communications but I suppose no one has a problem with that and then Jan acussed me of being some random member. It sounds like Jan has the problem with admins not the other way around. We are not going to his forum and breaking his rules.
What you do today may affect what we do tomorrow.
Why do you think we have repeat offender laws? It is to punish repeat offenders, should we just throw out the past because people will complain that another member is held to a different standard. Of course someone who has been in trouble in the past is held to a different standard. It happens all the time, which in fact goes against Jantie because he knew from previously posting my PMs that got him in trouble but he doesn't care about our rules.
I have no personal issues with Jan but let me state it again just in case I have not made it clear in the past.
Posting an admins PMs is not personal--it is a violation of my privacy and is in fact against the law in a lot of countries. Fact Jan posted our thread without permission. These are not personal things these are rule violations of our forums and are not personal. Now if you guys want to take rule violations and twist it to be personal go right ahead as all the admins and Oli know what has happened and why we did what we did.

One last thing--this is all so easy to fix remove our threads and PMs and we remove the ban but any further posting of threads will result in his IP being blocked and possibly me making a complaint to his blog hosting company and ISP. The blog company also has a TOS and their members are expected to follow it and I am sure someplace in those rules it talks about copying copyrighted material. And it probably also addresses the requested removal of said material.
